About ice

A Texan who loves the night sky.

The first memory I have of looking up at the night sky was as a small child. My parents woke me up late one night to see a lunar eclipse.

Later on as a teenager I would end up wearing out a cheap department store telescope looking at the Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn.

My interest was rekindled late one night in the Summer of 1999 after a birthday party at my parents. The rural location of their house gave a great view of the Milkyway.
