My very first attempt at astrophotography. Taken in the backyard of my parents rural home back in Sep. 1999. Used cheap film from a department store and an old OM1 I bought off an auction site. The focus was set at infinity but due to a bad film back plate in the camera, the shot was out of focus. It took alot of shots before I figured out what the problem was. Also, notice the light leaks.
You can see a faint hint of the North American Nebula above the pine tree.
